Enjoy Great Results on Any Budget With Financing

Factors Affecting The Cost of Breast Augmentation
Type of Implant
The type of breast implant you choose will affect your overall cost. Saline implants are less expensive than silicone implants; many believe that silicone gel feels more like natural breast tissue than saline. We also offer natural breast augmentation, a procedure in which Dr. Barone enhances the breasts using fat harvested from another area of the body. Natural breast augmentation is less expensive than augmentation using breast implants, but generally produces less pronounced results.
Insertion Technique
Insertion techniques each have a different recovery time and require a different extent of treatment. Our plastic surgeon can perform transumbilical (through an incision in the navel), transaxillary (through an incision in the armpit), inframammary (through an incision made below the breast), or periareolar (through an incision created around the nipple) implant placement.
Sedation
Sedation will add to the cost of breast augmentation. For the right candidates, Dr. Barone can perform awake breast augmentation, a procedure that uses local anesthetic to minimize pain while the patient remains awake during surgery. We are pleased to offer awake breast augmentation because it avoids the nausea and disorientation patients often experience with general anesthesia. Optional IV sedation will involve a higher cost, as will general anesthesia.
Additional Procedures
Breast augmentation can be combined with other procedures during the same session. For example, patients can also receive a breast lift to remove excess tissue and raise the breasts to a perkier position. Receiving another procedure at the same time will increase your total cost, but can be essential to achieving the results you want.
The best way to determine what you can expect to pay is to request a consultation with Dr. Constance Barone, our board-certified plastic surgeon.
