Plastic Surgery Team - San Antonio - Dr. Barone

Dr. Barone: Jessica's been with me the longest. She's been with me for seven years. She does all of the patient inquiries about what the finances are, she helps maintain loans for the patients, she also helps them get any hotels that we have special services with, she makes the arrangements for that, and she also helps patients with their scheduling needs. She has wealth information not only on financing, medical loans, care credit, but she has a wealth of information about the procedures. Jessica's very well versed on plastic surgery and she's really able to help the patients seamlessly go from a local procedure to a larger procedure under general anesthesia and fit it within their time frame. So really Jessica has been invaluable to me. Jessica: My duties here in the office are to schedule surgeries and also to answer any questions that the patients might have. I contribute by making sure that our patients are satisfied and comfortable with the procedures that we offer. The best part about working here is working with the patients, being there for them, making sure that they are comfortable and satisfied with our clinic. Dr. Barone: Blanca's been with me also a very long time. She started shortly after Jessica. Blanca was an EKG Technician to begin with but then I trained her in Sterilization, all the medical devices and medical equipment, and we have our equipment all registered, and updated, and logged in by a service, and she helps and assists patients in their post-op or pre-op needs, she also see's patients pre and post-operatively with me, and helps with their post-op appointments, she trains other personnel, she does do EKG's as well, and she also helps circulate not only in the operating room but also does all the ordering for all of our equipment for our operating room needs as well as our pre-op and post-op room needs. Blanca: I go through and I assist Dr. Barone in clinics with following up with patients before and after surgery. I help assist her with surgery as well, the day of surgery I'm in there with them assisting with whatever she needs. I try to make sure that our patients are overall happy and comfortable with the experience here at the office. The most satisfying part here is seeing the transformation of the patients, the before and after, that's my overall, that's what I really enjoy is the whole transformation process. Here at the office we get along very well. We work as a team and it's a great staff.
